Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Dureon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dong should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Dong connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dureon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dureon looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Dureon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Dong pulls Dureon in to control the position.
Dureon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Dong tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dureon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dong decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dureon.
Dureon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dong pinned against the cage. Dong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Dureon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dureon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dong swivels and escapes.

Dureon fails to land the takedown.
Dureon is breathing heavily.
Dureon shoots in for a takedown but Dong shows good takedown defense.

Dureon gets caught flat footed, as Dong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dong slips nicely into half guard.
Dureon wants to control but Dong is keeping busy.

Dong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dong looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dong scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dureon wants to get back to full guard.

Dong throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dureon throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Dureon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dong on the ground.
Dureon wants to improve his position but Dong is controlling well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dureon has his takedown stuffed
and Dong counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Dureon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brandon Dureon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dureon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dureon moves into range and clinches up with Dong.
Dong stalling in the clinch but Dureon improves position.
Dong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dureon has him pressed against the cage.
Dureon goes for a takedown attempt but Dong pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Dureon counters with a takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dong is not content to let Dureon control the position.
Dureon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dong is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dureon off and has taken his back!

Dong keeps control of the position as Dureon tries to break free.
Dong trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Dong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dureon tries to roll but Dong sticks to his back.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dong has eaten all the pies!

It looks like Brandon Dureon has been cut.
Dong lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Dong lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Dureon is rocked!
Dong is punishing Dureon with strikes - can he finish him?!
Oh Dureon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dureon tries to escape the position.

Brandon Dureon's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dong has the hooks in. Dureon is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Dong connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Dureon to escape the position.

Jeez, Brandon Dureon's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brandon Dureon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
