The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDonald scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Horrible takedown by Fernandez or perhaps it was just good defense by MacDonald which made him look bad.
Fernandez shoots in and drives through. MacDonald sprawls well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Fernandez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Greg MacDonald is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
