Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vic Prince Gapuz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Soriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soriano has chosen "Filipino" by The Black Eyed Peas as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Vic Prince Gapuz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Soriano!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gapuz misses with a takedown attempt - Soriano sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Soriano misses with a looping left.
Soriano fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gapuz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gapuz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Soriano as he jumps to the side.
Gapuz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soriano moves in looking to clinch but Gapuz pushes him off.

Soriano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gapuz moves out of range of the body kick.
Soriano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soriano will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gapuz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Prince Gapuz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Soriano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gapuz paws at him with a jab and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Some bone on bone action there as Gapuz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Soriano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Soriano tries to land a leg kick but Gapuz saw it coming and moves away.
Soriano lands the left hand.

It looks like Vic Prince Gapuz has been cut.

Soriano clinches up with Gapuz and pushes him back against the cage.
Gapuz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Soriano pulls his leg out and moves away.
Soriano connects with a solid leg kick.
Gapuz is breathing heavily.

Gapuz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soriano.
Gapuz swats away the attempt to clinch by Soriano.
Soriano connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Soriano connects with a nice cross there... Gapuz is looking wobbly and Soriano recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Gapuz to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Soriano jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
