The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witek shoots in for a double leg but Klajn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Klajn shoots for a double leg takedown but Witek sprawls well. He's pushed Klajn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Witek tries for a takedown but Klajn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Witek displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Klajn.
Horrible takedown attempt by Witek or perhaps it was just good defense by Klajn, which made it look bad.
Klajn now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

and Klajn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Klajn.
Klajn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Klajn manages to end up in side control.
Klajn advances to full mount.
Klajn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Witek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Klajn on the ground.
Klajn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Witek tries to improve his position but Klajn has taken his back! Klajn has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Witek tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Klajn pushes Witek away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
