and Krumins counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Krumins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Winkleoff wants to stand up but Krumins is controlling him.

Krumins slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Krumins passes Van Winkleoff's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Van Winkleoff is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Van Winkleoff is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Krumins turns him over and now has his back.
Van Winkleoff is trying to get back to his feet but Krumins has full control of the position and if anything, Van Winkleoff has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Krumins is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Van Winkleoff won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Krumins off his unconscious opponent!
