Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimundo Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raimundo Sobral told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral swings for the body but Turner moves out of range.
Turner throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sobral!
Sobral ducks right into an uppercut from Turner.
Sobral tries to land a front kick but Turner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sobral.
Turner avoids the head kick by Sobral.
Turner appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Sobral looks to land a combination but Turner avoids it well.
An attempted straight right counter from Turner misses the target.
A slow jab from Turner misses its intended target.
Sobral throws a one two combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sobral closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Turner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobral manages to avoid it.

Sobral closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Turner did well to prevent Sobral getting side control.

Sobral let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Sobral lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Turner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sobral.

Sobral tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turner swivels and escapes.
Turner fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sobral throws a looping overhand right but Turner ducks down to avoid it.
Turner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Good work by Turner as he checks the leg kick.
Sobral goes for a double leg but Turner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Turner continues to drive forward.
Turner lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Turner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sobral feints and as Turner raises his hands in defense, Sobral changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sobral not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Turner controls Sobral momentarily but Sobral frees himself.
Sobral advances position into side control!

Sobral is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Turner is trying to escape and Sobral transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Turner is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sobral! Very nice indeed!
