Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mann's choice of entrance music: Lupe Fiasco - Fire. Rock Pounder looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rock Pounder!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Mann!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder throws a head kick that Mann semi-blocks.
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pounder paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pounder misses with a wild body shot.
Pounder thows a body shot but no joy.
Mann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pounder's waist but Pounder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mann off to one side.
Mann shoots for a double leg takedown but Pounder sprawls well. He's pushed Mann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pounder tries for a takedown but Mann circles away easily
and Mann counters with a body kick that stops Pounder in his tracks momentarily.
Pounder is breathing heavily.
Mann is looking to clinch.
Pounder shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pounder showed some decent athleticism there.
Pounder prevents Mann from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mann looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mann keeping control of the position.
Mann tries to roll over but Pounder keeps him under control.
Pounder tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mann knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Mann moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mann is looking to sinch up a triangle. Pounder throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mann's body to avoid the submission. Mann has instead reached around Pounder's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mann arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Steven Mann!
