The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olowontobi clinches with his opponent.
Olowontobi tries to pull guard but Hudson holds him up against the cage and eventually Olowontobi drops back down to his feet.

Hudson breaks from the clinch.
Olowontobi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hudson gets tackled into the cage by Olowontobi . Olowontobi maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Olowontobi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hudson to keep the fight standing.
Hugo Hudson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sokudjo Olowontobi .

Hudson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hudson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hudson wants it to stay on the feet.

Olowontobi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hudson, pushing him back against the cage.

Olowontobi tries to stall but Hudson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hudson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Olowontobi 's elbow.
Olowontobi is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Olowontobi gets underhooks to prevent Hudson's takedown attempt.
Olowontobi lands with a right to the head.
Olowontobi throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Olowontobi jumps into guard, dragging Hudson to the mat.
Hudson throwing strikes but missing.
Hudson postures up in Olowontobi 's guard and throws a big left but Olowontobi blocks it.

Hudson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hudson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hudson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Olowontobi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hudson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Olowontobi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hudson's guard.

Hudson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hudson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Olowontobi stopping the sweep attempt from Hudson.
Hudson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hudson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Olowontobi sees it coming and defends easily.

Hudson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Olowontobi is just riding it out for now. Hudson eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hudson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Olowontobi is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
