Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like John Cook has been cut.
Adams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cook manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Adams throws a series of strikes that have Cook backpedaling.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Adams shoots in and bounces Cook off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Cook is rocked!
Adams loads up on a big left hand. Cook felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Adams looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cook can't hide his disappointment, as Adams celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Adams!
After winning the bout, Samuel Adams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
John Cook was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank your for the great fight.'.
