Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hard Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Sawamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Core's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Bodies. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Core throws a combination that misses
and Sawamura counters with a two punch combo.
Core slaps away a takedown attempt from Sawamura, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Core fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Core rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sawamura moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sawamura tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sawamura.
Core loads up on a big right hand but Sawamura slips the punch.
Sawamura lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Core fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Core connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Ryo Sawamura has been cut.
Hard Core seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sawamura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sawamura tries to move into full mount but can't pass Core's legs.
Sawamura looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sawamura goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Core has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sawamura but great work by Core.
Sawamura is trying to control Core's posture but Core avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Core decides to stand back up. Core steps back and let's Sawamura get back to his feet.
Core misses with a two punch combination.
Sawamura changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sawamura fails with a takedown attempt.
Hard Core has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryo Sawamura.
Core will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And Sawamura tries to counter it with a takedown but Core pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Sawamura shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sawamura wants to pass the guard but Core is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sawamura is trying for a kimura here. Core looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sawamura wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ryo Sawamura!
In defeat, Hard Core stepped up to the mic, saying 'Next time, U R mine!
