Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown but Grimm shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Grimm throws a series of punches but Hernandez moves out of range.
Grimm misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tanner Grimm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grimm stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hernandez.
Grimm tries a head kick but it misses.

Grimm moves into the clinch.
Grimm looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Hernandez drags the fight down to the ground.

Grimm postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hernandez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Grimm, into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hernandez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Grimm for as long as he can get away with.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hernandez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hernandez wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Grimm's closed guard. He's half up but Grimm has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Grimm pivots and extends the arm, Hernandez falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Grimm! Well done that man!
