Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DIAS feints and as Bolton raises his hands in defense, DIAS changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bolton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bolton is trying to hold DIAS in close to prevent damage but DIAS has managed to pass into half guard.
Bolton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
DIAS is tying to control. Bolton wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bolton is trying to get back to full guard.
Bolton is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but DIAS pulls his head out easily.
DIAS wants to stand but Bolton has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
DIAS shoots for a double leg takedown but Bolton sprawls well. He's pushed DIAS's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
DIAS shoots in looking for a takedown. Bolton tries to sprawl out of it but DIAS keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bolton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bolton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
DIAS tries to close the distance and clinch but Bolton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bolton shoots for a takedown but DIAS saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
DIAS throws a head kick that half lands.

and Bolton counters with a nice double leg into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that PATRICK LUIZ DIAS will probably get the nod.

Bolton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bolton can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bolton has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. DIAS is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bolton.
Bolton is looking to regain half guard here but DIAS keeps moving and retains side control.

Bolton breaks DIAS's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
DIAS doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Bolton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but DIAS manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bolton has DIAS in his guard.

Bolton looking for a guillotine here but DIAS defends easily.

MIke Bolton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

DIAS throwing hammer fists to the chest of Bolton. What's that going to do exactly?
Bolton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Bolton has gone for a leg lock! DIAS slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bolton's guard.
DIAS prevents Bolton from getting back to his feet.
DIAS wants to get up but he can't break Bolton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bolton has his foot on DIAS's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DIAS works his way back into a safe position though.
Bolton striking off his back but it's not causing DIAS any problems.

Bolton is looking for a triangle but DIAS pushes his legs off easily.

Bolton throws his legs up looking for a submission but DIAS uses it to pass to side control.
Bolton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but DIAS wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

DIAS decides to stand back up. DIAS steps back and let's Bolton get back to his feet.
No luck for Bolton with that takedown attempt.
DIAS throws a front kick that sends Bolton stumbling back into the cage.
Bolton shoots in but DIAS avoids the takedown attempt easily.
DIAS throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bolton's head.
Bolton keeps the fight on the outside.
Bolton clinches with his opponent.
Bolton avoiding damage as DIAS throws knees to the body.
DIAS tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bolton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. DIAS is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
