The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calavar fails to land with a series of punches.
Poe Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Calavar misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Calavar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Calavar takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Calavar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poe Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Calavar drops Poe Jr with a right and a left! Calavar comes rushing in but Poe Jr regains his composure and manages to keep Calavar in guard.
Poe Jr is rocked!
It looks like Fernando Poe Jr has been cut.
Calavar wants to stand but Poe Jr is controlling his posture from full guard.
Poe Jr is still in real trouble! Can Calavar finish him?
Calavar gets to his feet - Poe Jr follows without any prompting.
Poe Jr slips a jab and a cross from Calavar.
Poe Jr seems to have recovered his senses.
Calavar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poe Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Calavar misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Poe Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Poe Jr takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A head kick misses from Poe Jr.
Poe Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Calavar lands with a right that hurts Poe Jr. Poe Jr looks to clinch but Calavar throws a short knee that drops Poe Jr. This one is all over!
