Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Gunines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frederic Gunines is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frederic Gunines!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Topper Green and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunines takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Gunines misses with a takedown

and Dong counters with a crisp one two that drops Gunines! Dong thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gunines to his feet! Gunines is in big trouble!


Gunines is rocked!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dong is defended easily by Gunines.
Gunines tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
