Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neil Jules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey has chosen DIME SI TE VAS CON EL NIGGA as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neil Jules!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jules shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anstey as he jumps to the side.
Jules looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anstey is fending him off so far but Jules persists. Nope, Anstey circles away and we're back to standing.
Anstey misses with a double jab.
Jules drives through with a takedown into guard.
Anstey wriggles free and stands up.
Anstey blocks a head kick by Jules.
Jules throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anstey avoids the head kick by Jules.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anstey, as that shot connected.
Anstey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jules shoots in and bounces Anstey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Anstey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jules manages to get himself to full guard.
Anstey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Jules pushes Anstey off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jules tries for a takedown but Anstey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neil Jules. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jules avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jules misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jules closes the distance and clinches up with Anstey, looking for a takedown. Jules pushes Anstey against the cage but Anstey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Corwin Anstey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jules thows a leg kick but Anstey checks it
and Anstey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jules walks into a jab.

Jules is breathing heavily.

and Anstey counters with a low kick, right behind Jules 's knee.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anstey dances in with a quick combination. Jules is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Anstey snaps Jules's head back. Jules stumbles backwards against the cage. Anstey steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Jules's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Jules just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Corwin Anstey!
