Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Breneman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Beyonce feat. Jay Z - Bonnie & Clyde. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clyde Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Breneman!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Breneman had a free shot at his head there.
Breneman misses with a low kick.
Breneman throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side.
Breneman throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Breneman sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jones is working for a kimura but Breneman is defending it quite comfortably.
Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Breneman is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Breneman is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Breneman wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jones advances to half guard.
Jones trying to pass the guard but Breneman defending well.
Breneman trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
Jones lands strikes from half guard.
Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Breneman is controlling Jones's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Jones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Breneman is holding on to half guard well.
Jones with the ground and pound but Breneman uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Breneman pulls Jones in to control the position.
Jones throws an elbow that misses. Breneman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Breneman!

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Breneman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Let's hope that Breneman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Breneman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Breneman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Breneman's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Breneman looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Breneman is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clyde Jones dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Breneman jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.

Breneman lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Breneman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Clyde Jones has been cut.
Breneman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Despite the aggression on Breneman's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Breneman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Breneman's waist but Breneman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Breneman throws a low kick but Jones avoids it.
Breneman misses with a wild body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Breneman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clyde Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Breneman sprawls well. Breneman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones blocks the body kick.
Breneman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Breneman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Breneman thuds a left hand into Jones's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Breneman tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones moves out of range of the body kick.
Jones appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jones fails with the takedown.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Breneman shows good takedown defense.
Breneman lands a slapping body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Breneman takes the fight into the clinch.
Breneman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joness head.
Breneman lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jones tries for a takedown. No joy.
Breneman prevents a takedown attempt there.

Breneman manages to break the clinch.
Breneman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Jones fails to land the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones shoots in but Breneman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Clyde Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Breneman swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Breneman finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Jones with a poor takedown
and Breneman counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Jones out cold! What a finish! Breneman is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adam Breneman!
A relieved looking Adam Breneman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
