Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Widow Maker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colle Stechnij (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maker comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies Hit the Floor. Maker has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Widow Maker has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colle Stechnij!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maker throws a nice looking combination but Stechnij bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stechnij as he avoids it easily.
Maker is breathing heavily.
Maker closes the distance and clinches up with Stechnij, looking for a takedown. Maker pushes Stechnij against the cage but Stechnij circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stechnij throws a sloppy head kick and Maker moves out of range easily.

Stechnij gets to his feet. Maker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Maker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stechnij doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stechnij manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Maker wants to stand and escape but Stechnij is having none of it.

Stechnij fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maker, pushing him back against the cage.

Stechnij has Maker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Maker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Stechnij has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
