Coshak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Razormind Remix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Josh Coshak will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Coshak!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coshak throws a leg kick which misses Webb's front leg but catches the back leg as Webb tries to avoid it.

Coshak has taken the fight to the clinch.
Webb pressing his opponent against the cage.

Coshak manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Webb gets to his feet - Coshak follows without any prompting.

Webb gets caught napping as Coshak dives in and scores a takedown. Webb manages to retain guard.
Webb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Coshak drops back, looking for a kneebar! Webb looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Webb looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Webb!

Webb thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coshak is pushing Webb's head away, looking to escape. Webb manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Webb looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Webb tries for a kimura but Coshak is defending well.
Webb lands an elbow.
Coshak tries to get back to half guard but can't.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Coshak sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Coshak is looking for a sweep. Webb is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Coshak looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Webb pushes past his half guard into mount!
Coshak can't escape the position.
Coshak is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Coshak tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Coshak wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Coshak looks winded!

Webb working for the choke.

Coshak tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Webb sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Coshak to tap. Impressive finish!
