Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Its Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Its Ono enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Its Ono!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Li checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ono tries a head kick but it misses.
Ono bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Li's head.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Ono takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Li is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Li takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Ono throws a quick inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Li closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ono quickly recovers to half guard.
Li throws a strike but Ono avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Ono wants to sweep but no luck.
Li is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at H-13 Alpha Elite Training that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Li throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ono works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Ono preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Li throws a strike but Ono rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ono wants to pass the guard but Li is keeping the position.
Li wants to get back to his feet but Ono is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ono stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Li swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Li is looking to improve his position but Ono isn't that keen on the idea.
Li bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Ono stuffs the takedown.
Ono now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Li looks for a takedown but Ono sprawls well.
Li takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Its Ono seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ono lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Li walks into a straight right hand from Ono.
Li takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ono paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ono cracks Li with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ono defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Li.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Li. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Ono counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Li walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ono stuffs the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Li swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ono! But no joy.

Ono bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ono chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Li fails with the takedown.
Li on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ono. That's going to slow Li down.
Ono scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Oh Li is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ono jabs Li to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Li seems to have got his legs back now.
Li shoots in looking for a takedown but Ono manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Li's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Li takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ono has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Li is defended easily by Ono.
It seemed like Ono was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ono.

Ono cracks Li with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Li fails to land the takedown.
Ono thuds a left hand into Li's body.
Ono fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Li takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Li ducks straight into an uppercut from Ono and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Li manages to regain guard straight away.
Ono stays in close to Li's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ono is controlling him.

Ono distracts Li with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ono is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ono wants to pass the guard but Li is keeping the position.
Ono won't allow Li to sweep him here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Li sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ono connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Li's hands.
Ono feints and then cracks Li's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Li down.
Ono stuns Li with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
