Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Country (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer has chosen Peste as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Killer!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Killer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Killer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Killer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Country.
Country shoots in for a takedown but Killer shows good takedown defense.
Country shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nelson Country. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Country keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Killer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Country checks a low kick from Killer.
Country appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Killer throws a body shot but no joy.

Killer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Country shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killer pinned against the cage. Killer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It seemed like Killer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Killer throws a right and a left that Country avoids nicely.
Killer throws a body shot but no joy.
As Killer tries to get set, Country tries to push him back and clinch up but Killer manages to avoid the attempt.

Country fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Killer to the ground. Country is now in Killer's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Country wants to pass the guard but Killer is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Killer looking for a sweep. Not yet Killer, not yet.
Killer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Country might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Country trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Country scoring with punches to the head and body.
Country throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Killer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Country trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom.
Killer looking to control.
Country postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Country stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Country postures up in Killer's guard and throws a big left but Killer blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Country accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Country seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Country pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Killer is keeping the position for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Country accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Killer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Killer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Country is looking to work some ground and pound but Killer has wrist control.
Killer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Killer lets loose with a powerful body kick. Country will feel that in the morning.
Nice sprawl there from Killer as Country shoots in.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Killer lands a head kick!


It looks like Nelson Country has been cut.
Country takes one on the button.
Country shoots in looking for a takedown. Killer tries to sprawl out of it but Country keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Killer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Country takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Killer steps into range and cracks Country with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Country flops backwards and Killer dives into his guard looking to finish!


Country is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Oh Country is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Country trying to control the position here.
Country seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Killer postures up.
Killer trying to control the position from guard on top but Country is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Country has a closed guard, preventing Killer from standing up.
Killer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Country is keeping the position for now.
Country controls Killer momentarily but Killer frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Killer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Killer wants it to stay on the feet.
Killer only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Good shot there by Killer.
Killer listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Killer drops Country with a huge uppercut! Country drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Killer is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Killer!
A very excited looking Eddie Killer made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
