Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nguyen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Coshak stopping the sweep attempt from Nguyen.
Coshak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coshak slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Coshak's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Coshak passes Nguyen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Coshak is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Coshak is trying to control. Nguyen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Coshak is taking a breather. Nguyen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Nguyen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coshak on the ground.
More stalling from Coshak.
Coshak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nguyen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Still in half guard, Coshak seems content to control.
Let's hope that Coshak has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Nguyen tries to get to full guard but Coshak has control of the leg.

Coshak winds up and cracks Nguyen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coshak connects with a nice short shot to Nguyen's temple.
Coshak slips a nice elbow through Nguyen's hands, connecting with Nguyen's forehead.

Nguyen is rocked!

Coshak seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nguyen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
