Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kicking King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taras Shevchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shevchenko connects with a nice short shot to King's temple.

This has been an exciting period of action!
King is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Shevchenko scores with a couple of nice shots.
King pushes Shevchenko off looking to stand but Shevchenko dives back in and keeps control.

King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Kicking King has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shevchenko postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have King in real trouble here! The ref calls for King to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
