Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrik Messinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kit Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker pushes Messinger up against the cage in a clinch.
Walker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Messinger pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Walker is trying to pull guard but Messinger has him pressed against the cage.

Walker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Messinger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Messinger is pushing Walker's head away, looking to escape. Walker manages to hold on to the position though.
Walker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Messinger sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Walker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Walker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Walker tries to score with some ground and pound. Messinger controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

In his post fight interview, Henrik Messinger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
