The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahva shoots in looking for a takedown. Nunes tries to sprawl out of it but Kahva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nunes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kahva enables Nunes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kahva manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nunes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kahva shoots in for a takedown but Nunes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nunes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kahva tries to avoid it but Nunes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kahva to the ground. Kahva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kahva shoots in for a double leg but Nunes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kahva misses with a takedown attempt - Nunes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kahva throws a series of punches but Nunes moves out of range.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kahva is looking to stand up but Nunes won't let him.
Nunes has his feet on Kahva's thighs here. He's pushed Kahva off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kahva screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Diego Nunes got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
In defeat, Jenkka Kahva stepped up to the mic, saying 'Now I'm hungry'.
