The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wha throws a nice looking combination but Carboni bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carboni throws the left hand but Wha avoids the punch easily.

Wha rushes Carboni and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wha tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Carboni avoids it.
Wha fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wha throws a punch but it's blocked by Carboni.
Wha lands a shoulder strike.
Carboni managing to block the knees to the body from Wha.

Wha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wha lands a jab to Carboni's midsection.
