Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Bianchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Bianchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Roberts.
Roberts jabs Bianchi right on the nose. Bianchi blinks but takes it well.
Bianchi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roberts pinned against the cage. Roberts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bianchi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bianchi wants to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Roberts.
Bianchi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Roberts manages to circle out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts scores with a jab to the head.

Roberts with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bianchi tries to close the distance and clinch but Roberts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bianchi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Roberts.

letting Roberts counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roberto Bianchi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Good leg kick by Roberts there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bianchi wants to clinch but Roberts slips to the side
and Roberts counters with a good low kick that Bianchi was not able to check.
Bianchi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roberts paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bianchi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Donk. Roberts catches Bianchi right on the button with a cross.
Roberts lands with a thumping leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Roberts has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bianchi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bianchi tries to land a knee to the head but Roberts blocks with his arms.
Bianchi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bianchi trying to control the position but instead, Roberts has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bianchi into the cage.
Roberts pushes Bianchi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Bianchi is breathing heavily.
Bianchi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Roberts.
Bianchi stalling in the clinch but Roberts improves position.
Bianchi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bianchi is trying to maintain a safe position but Roberts gets an underhook and turns Bianchi into the cage.
Bianchi has Roberts pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Roberts manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Roberts scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Roberts working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Roberts has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bianchi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Bianchi covers up after that shot from Roberts.

Roberts has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bianchi has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
I really don't envy Bianchi right now.

Roberts has his arm under Bianchi's chin here. Game over son! Roberts squeezes tightly and Bianchi is forced to tap out!
