The crowd seem to be enjoying Kamita's choice of entrance music: love runs out. Bernard Kirby has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamita tries to close the distance and clinch but Kirby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kirby drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kirby jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kamita is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kirby is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kamita to the mat. Kamita regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
