Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Joan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that King Perry has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily King Perry seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry lands with a hook. Joan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Joan enables Perry to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Joan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Perry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Perry won't allow Joan to sweep him here.

Perry drops back looking for a leg! Joan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joan manages to kick Perry off! Perry jumps back into Joan's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Perry stands up over Joan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Perry postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Joan is rocked!
Perry lands a couple of elbows.
Joan is still in real trouble! Can Perry finish him?
Perry gets to his feet and stands over Joan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Joan felt that one! Perry unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Joan from any more punishment!
