Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gray Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avar Nurmagomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maddox has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Avar Nurmagomedov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Maddox looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nurmagomedov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Nurmagomedov lands with an uppercut that bounces Maddox off the cage and back into range.
Nurmagomedov stuns Maddox with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nurmagomedov connects with a jab.
Nurmagomedov lands with a shot to the body.
Avar Nurmagomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maddox tries to move into range but Nurmagomedov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nurmagomedov cracks Maddox with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nurmagomedov pounces like a tiger and cracks Maddox with a vicious hook! Maddox is down but not out! Nurmagomedov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
