The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Morse throws Dell to one side and escapes!

Morse gets caught flat footed, as Dell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dell throws a big right hand that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dell trying to control the position from guard on top but Morse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dell forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morse wants to get back to his feet.

Dell is trying to control the action in half guard but Morse is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Morse controlling the position for now.
Dell is keen to just control but Morse is a slippery customer.
Morse is trying to maintain the position but Dell is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Dell tries to clinch but Morse is having none of it.

Dell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morse paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dell doesn't manage to clinch there - Morse circles away.

Dell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Morse's half guard.

Morse is refusing to be controlled, as Dell sits in half guard.

Morse wants to control but Dell is keeping busy.

Morse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dell on the ground.

Dell is working for a kimura but Morse is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Well, if Dell is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Morse controlling the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dell throws a strike but Morse avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Morse keeping moving, preventing Dell from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dell fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Optiplex Dell will probably get the nod.

Dell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dell lands in his opponent's guard.
Morse is looking to stand back up but Dell counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Morse.

Dell stops Morse from getting back to his feet.

Dell has isolated one of Morse's arms. Morse looking to fight him off but Dell twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
