Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Rostowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rostowski comes into the arena with VITER - Marichka blaring out of the sound system. Andrzej Rostowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rostowski with a poor takedown
and Bailey counters with a nice uppercut.
We've been hearing reports that Rostowski has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rostowski.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rostowski.
Bailey gets caught napping as Rostowski dives in and scores a takedown. Bailey manages to retain guard.
Rostowski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bailey manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rostowski has Bailey in his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rostowski is on top in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rostowski lands a couple of decent looking shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rostowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bailey is controlling Rostowski's posture.

Rostowski lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bailey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rostowski manages to get himself to full guard.
Rostowski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rostowski connects with a nice short shot to Bailey's temple.
Bailey is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Rostowski has latched onto it... Big trouble! Rostowski pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Bailey is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Rostowski!

Andrzej Rostowski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
