Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleixo Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asahi Nozara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nozara is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Shing02 - Japonica. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aleixo Gene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Asahi Nozara!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Gene.
Nozara closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gene's guard.
Nozara throws an elbow that misses. Gene uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nozara's guard. Nice move by Gene!
Nozara is controlling Gene's posture.
Gene might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nozara wants to sweep here but Gene controlling him for the moment.
Nozara looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gene accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gene wants to control from the top but Nozara keeps moving.
Nozara is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gene is controlling him.
Nozara is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Nozara is looking for a triangle but Gene pushes his legs off easily.
Nozara throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Gene stands up out of Nozara's guard for a moment - Nozara manages to land a nice upkick.
Nozara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gene doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gene manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gene with a flurry of punches that miss.
Gene prevents Nozara from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gene scores with a nice strike.
Nozara moves out of range of the body kick.
Gene will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gene thows a leg kick but Nozara checks it
and Nozara counters with a takedown into side control.
Gene is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nozara's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Gene looking for submissions off his back.
Nozara is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gene moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Nozara lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Nozara working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Gene working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nozara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nozara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nozara is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gene has his foot on Nozara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nozara works his way back into a safe position though.

Nozara postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Nozara is in close to Gene's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gene is trying to keep Nozara in close.
Nozara controlling from the top position.
Gene looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nozara is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Nozara landing with the ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nozara distracts Gene with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Nozara stands up over Gene, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Nozara postures up and lands a big shot to Gene's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asahi Nozara dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nozara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gene wants to control but Nozara postures up.
Gene is looking for a sweep.
Nozara lands a decent elbow from side control.
Nozara connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gene some visible discomfort.
Nozara lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gene down.
Gene takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Nozara is chipping away with strikes.
Nozara lands a huge shot from side control! Gene is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Asahi Nozara!
After winning the bout, Asahi Nozara thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
