Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Rzasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Hagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tomasz Rzasa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Hagen!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rzasa is fending him off so far but Hagen persists. Nope, Rzasa circles away and we're back to standing.
Hagen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hagen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rzasa counters with a head kick.
Hagen fails with a takedown attempt.
Tomasz Rzasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Hagen.
Hagen wants to clinch up but Rzasa keeps it at a distance.

Rzasa moves into the clinch successfully.

Rzasa gets control of Hagen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rzasa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hagen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rzasa throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Rzasa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rzasa pulls Hagen in close to prevent any damage.

Rzasa looking for a guillotine here but Hagen defends easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rzasa is on top in guard.

Hagen throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rzasa escapes and throws Hagen's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Hagen is letting Rzasa control him for a moment.
Hagen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rzasa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rzasa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Tomasz Rzasa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rzasa drives through and clinches with Hagen against the cage.
Hagen tries to pull guard but Rzasa won't allow it.
Hagen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Rzasa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hagen's efforts to push away.
Hagen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rzasa's elbow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rzasa drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hagen pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rzasa gets a clinch.
Hagen prevents a body shot from Rzasa.

Rzasa breaks from the clinch.

Hagen gets tackled into the cage by Rzasa. Rzasa maintains the clinch.
Rzasa is stalling here.

Rzasa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rzasa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Rzasa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hagen, pushing him back against the cage.

Rzasa manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Rzasa pushes Hagen up against the cage in a clinch.
Hagen working hard to break the clinch.
Hagen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rzasa gets underhooks to prevent Hagen's takedown attempt.
Hagen tries to throw a body punch but Rzasa avoids it by throwing Hagen back against the cage.

Rzasa manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hagen being controlled here momentarily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rzasa throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tomasz Rzasa dominated that round.
That's time! Rzasa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Rzasa rushes Hagen and presses him up against the cage.
Hagen has Rzasa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rzasa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hagen tries to pull guard but Rzasa won't allow it.

Rzasa has clasped his hands together around Hagen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Rzasa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tomasz Rzasa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Rzasa is trying to get an arm triangle but Hagen is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rzasa takes a little break here. Hagen wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rzasa continues to stall.
Hagen takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Rzasa lands an elbow.
Rzasa prevents Hagen from escaping the position.
Rzasa controlling the position from side mount.
Rzasa landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Rzasa scores with a couple of short elbows.
Rzasa just content to control the position.
Rzasa creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.


Hagen is rocked!
Rzasa controls the position from side control.
Hagen is still in real trouble! Can Rzasa finish him?
Rzasa lands a strong strike to the head of Hagen. That's dazed him! Rzasa looking to finish here. Hagen is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Rzasa lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tomasz Rzasa!
