The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conlon closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.

Conlon pulls guard.
Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Conlon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Conlon manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Conlon's guard.
Conlon trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Johnson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Conlon wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Conlon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johnson's guard.

Conlon is posturing up here but Johnson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Conlon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Conlon has to tap! Slick submission there by Johnson!
