Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Quinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Kravichenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Oleg Kravichenko was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cesar Quinta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oleg Kravichenko!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kravichenko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kravichenko lands in his opponent's guard.
Quinta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kravichenko defends well.
Kravichenko controls from within his opponent's guard.
It looks like Kravichenko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quinta tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kravichenko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kravichenko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Quinta throwing short punches from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kravichenko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kravichenko controlling from the top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Quinta lands a nice shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Quinta takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quinta. Kravichenko does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kravichenko! But no joy.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kravichenko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Quinta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kravichenko moves away.
Kravichenko sends Quinta crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kravichenko is motioning to the referee to let Quinta up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Quinta is rocked!
It looks like Cesar Quinta has been cut.
Quinta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kravichenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Quinta tries for a takedown but Kravichenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kravichenko throws the left hand but Quinta avoids the punch easily.
Quinta loses concentration momentarily and Kravichenko pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Quinta crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Kravichenko finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Oleg Kravichenko!
Our winner, Oleg Kravichenko, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
