The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McEnsie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fox is squirming around, avoiding McEnsie's attempts to control the action.
Fox tries to hold on but McEnsie postures up.

McEnsie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fox had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McEnsie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fox Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McEnsie's back instead.
McEnsie is trying to get back to his feet but Fox has full control of the position and if anything, McEnsie has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Well McEnsie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
