Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aleksei Marshal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshal kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ЦельРазгроl. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aleksei Marshal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leandro Jones!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Marshal's guard.

A nice side step and Jones releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Marshal has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marshal, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
