Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Sean Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez ducks under a wild hook from Dempsey.
Martinez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The fighters circle momentarily. Martinez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dempsey has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Martinez finds it's way round the side to connect with Dempsey's head.

Dempsey throws a series of punches but Martinez avoids them all with ease.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd cheers as Dempsey lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martinez doesn't seem phased though.

Martinez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dempsey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Martinez scrambles back to his feet.

Dempsey tries to bum rush Martinez with a series of wild strikes but Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Martinez, as that shot connected.

Dempsey throws a lazy right hand but Martinez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Martinez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dempsey is looking to wear down Martinez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Martinez lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Dempsey goes down! The ref sends Martinez to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Dempsey is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Oh Dempsey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Martinez counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Dempsey goes down! Martinez rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Dempsey is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!
