Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tim Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Todd Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl out of it but Wallace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hunter dives in and grabs Wallace's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes down on Hunter's head and hops out.
Hunter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wallace sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunter somewhat.
Hunter shoots for a takedown but Wallace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tim Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Todd Hunter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter fails with a takedown attempt.
Hunter doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wallace cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wallace takes the fight into the clinch.
Wallace will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hunter up against the cage.

Wallace has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hunter clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wallace misses with a punch to the head.
Wallace controlling well, preventing Hunter from escaping the position.
Wallace thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Wallace throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Wallace has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Hunter.
Wallace misses with a punch to the head.
Hunter is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Wallace 's hooks.
Hunter tries to lock up and control but Wallace gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wallace throws some wild stikes that Hunter manages to avoid easily.
BOOM! Wallace connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wallace throwing strikes here but Hunter is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wallace avoids the attempt from Hunter to control.
Hunter keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wallace looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Wallace connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wallace throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Wallace in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wallace misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Poor strikes thrown by Wallace there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Wallace throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Wallace lands a big shot there that rocks Hunter but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Hunter is still in real trouble! Can Wallace finish him?
Wallace looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Hunter covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
