The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slaughter as he avoids it easily.
Slaughter connects with a body shot.
Slaughter throws a left that rocks Timmons and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Slaughter dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Timmons regain composure!

It looks like Jayson Timmons has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slaughter lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Timmons! Slaughter senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Timmons out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
