The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A solid leg kick lands there for Masilungan.
Masilungan stuffs the takedown attempt from Grey. Grey gets slowly back to his feet.
Masilungan throws out a leg kick but Grey moves out of range and Masilungan only half commits.
Masilungan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Masilungan throws a sloppy head kick and Grey moves out of range easily.
Masilungan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Grey is trying to stand back up but Masilungan is controlling him

Masilungan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Grey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Masilungan slips a nice elbow through Grey's hands, connecting with Grey's forehead.
Masilungan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Masilungan is working for a kimura but Grey is defending it quite comfortably.
Grey wants to control but Masilungan is keeping busy.
Masilungan is trying to work for a kimura but Grey is defending well.
