Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bela Bartok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bartok might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Allegro Barbaro. Alvarez has chosen The Enemy by Godsmack as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez clinches.
Alvarez has Bartok pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bartok manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bartok escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bartok clinches up with Alvarez and pushes him back against the cage.
Bartok has had enough of the clinch but Alvarez keeps him there for the moment.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bartok just misses with a elbow thrown towards Alvarez's brow.

Alvarez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bartok pinned against the cage. Bartok gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bartok moves into range and clinches up with Alvarez.

Alvarez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bartok's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bartok's back!

Alvarez throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bartok escapes and throws Alvarez's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Alvarez reaches up to try and control the position but Bartok seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Alvarez rolls and tries to escape and now Bartok has his back!

Bartok will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Alvarez up against the cage.
