The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazur misses with a takedown attempt - Dawson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Mazur closes the distance and clinches.
Mazur fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mazur tries to pull guard but Dawson holds him up against the cage and eventually Mazur drops back down to his feet.
Johny Dawson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ireneusz Mazur.
Mazur goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dawson prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

enabling Dawson to counter with a crisp jab.
Mazur tries for a takedown but Dawson circles away easily
and Dawson counters with a stiff right hand.
Mazur takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mazur fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mazur tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dawson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It looked like Dawson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mazur.
Mazur fails to land the takedown.

Dawson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Mazur fails to pull guard.
Mazur jumps guard but Dawson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mazur misses with the head strike.
Dawson stops a takedown attempt from Mazur.

Dawson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mazur shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dawson counters with a straight right hand.
Mazur throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dawson counters with a stiff right hand.
Dawson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mazur is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dawson.
Mazur takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dawson throws a nice looking combination but Mazur bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dawson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dawson looks to land a combination. Mazur sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Mazur tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dawson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dawson cracks Mazur with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dawson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mazur to stand back up!

Mazur is rocked!
Johny Dawson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dawson lands with a nice body punch.
Dawson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mazur momentarily.
Mazur is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawson finish him?
Mazur walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dawson cracks Mazur with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mazur falls to his knees and Dawson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
