Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andre Stevenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stelios Ntakos!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Ntakos. Those never looked like landing.
Stevenson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Ntakos looking to score a takedown here. Stevenson is defending well but Ntakos drives through and ends up in Stevenson's guard.

Stevenson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ntakos presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Ntakos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Stevenson can't fight it off and eventually Ntakos manages to take the fight to the floor. Stevenson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ntakos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ntakos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ntakos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ntakos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ntakos is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ntakos tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Stevenson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Stevenson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ntakos off and has taken his back!

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Ntakos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stevenson to the mat! Stevenson manages to get full guard.
Stevenson is looking to stand back up but Ntakos counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Stevenson.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ntakos tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stevenson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevenson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

A clash of legs there as Stevenson blocks the low kick.

Stevenson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ntakos wants to stand but Stevenson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Ntakos tries to free his leg and advance position but Stevenson is retaining full guard.
Ntakos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Stevenson looking for a sweep. Not yet Stevenson, not yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stevenson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Stelios Ntakos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ntakos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
