And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Angelous India!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfadden takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mcfadden darts in looking for a takedown but India gets double underhooks and turns Mcfadden into the cage.
Mcfadden slaps away a takedown attempt from India, before circling back to the center of the mat.

India closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcfadden did well to prevent India getting side control.

India decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

India tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mcfadden defends well and India ends up having to push Mcfadden into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

India jumps guard and drags Mcfadden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mcfadden drops back, looking for a kneebar! India looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. India looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from India!

India just content to control the position.
Mcfadden is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, India asserts his dominance and retains side control.
India cracks Mcfadden with a big right hand but Mcfadden just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

India is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcfadden knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
India is putting a hurting on Mcfadden here, landing some big shots from side control.
Mcfadden is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on India's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Mcfadden wants to improve his position but India is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mcfadden uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Mcfadden fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with India, pushing him back against the cage.

India shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcfadden as he avoids it easily.

Mcfadden wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Angelous India seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - India looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

India wants to stand and escape but Mcfadden is having none of it.
Mcfadden slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
India throws a front kick aimed at Mcfadden's knee but Mcfadden avoids it well.
Mcfadden attempts a counter takedown but India avoids it well and moves away.

India shoots in and drives through. Mcfadden sprawls well.

Mcfadden is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
India trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Mcfadden drops back looking for a leg! India is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and India manages to kick Mcfadden off! Mcfadden jumps back into India's guard.

Mcfadden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Laurence Mcfadden dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

India throws an overhand right that lands on Mcfadden's shoulder, as Mcfadden tries to avoid the shot.
India throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcfadden's waist but Mcfadden gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing India off to one side.
Laurence Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angelous India.

and India counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
India fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mcfadden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts India as he jumps to the side.
Mcfadden shoots in for a double leg but India sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mcfadden darts in and clinches India up against the cage.

Mcfadden is looking to break free of the clinch but India has double underhooks.
Mcfadden tries to pull guard but India holds him up against the cage and eventually Mcfadden drops back down to his feet.
India drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
India has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mcfadden is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mcfadden can't break the clinch.
