Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antoni Kristofer Hong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Severn!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn throws a head kick that misses.
Hong takes a swing at Severn's ribcage but misses.
Hong has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mandirigmang Pilipino in the buildup to the fight.
Hong checks a leg kick.
Hong waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Severn.
Severn loads up on a big right hand but Hong slips the punch.
Severn misses with an uppercut
and Hong counters with a nice leg kick.
Hong lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Chris Severn has been cut.
Severn throws a body kick that misses.
Severn looks for the body kick but Hong saw that one coming.
Severn misses with a body kick.
Severn missing with a left hand there. Hong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Severn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hong scores with a head kick. Severn tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Severn misses with an attempted mid kick.
Severn misses with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Hong.
Hong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Severns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Severn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hong was well out of range. Poor timing from Severn.
Jab, jab by Hong - just one landing.


Severn is rocked!

Hong dives in and scores a takedown into Severn's guard.
Severn is still in real trouble! Can Hong finish him?
Severn looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hong throwing strikes from guard but Severn blocks nicely.
Hong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hong is in close to Severn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hong's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Severn seems to have recovered his senses.
Hong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hong got a little sloppy there for a moment and Severn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hong has managed to get both his arms back between Severn's legs - danger averted.

Severn looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hong has picked Severn up and slammed him! Severn can't keep hold of the triangle and Hong manages to pass to side control!
Hong cracks Severn with a big elbow.
Severn on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Severn is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hong remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hong trying to control the position but Severn is working away.
Severn is looking to reverse the position.
Hong is looking to take a break and control but Severn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Check out the look on Hong's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hong is working Severn over with some ground and pound from side control.
Severn is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Hong landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Hong cracks Severn with a big right hand but Severn just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Severn takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hong wants to control but Severn is keeping him busy.
Hong in side control lands a decent elbow.
Hong scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Severn is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hong can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antoni Kristofer Hong!
After the fight, Antoni Kristofer Hong was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
