Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Philippe Njewel!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Njewel throws a leg kick which misses Morris's front leg but catches the back leg as Morris tries to avoid it.
Morris falls off balance throwing a combination

so Njewel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Morris wants to control the position but Njewel says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Morris moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Njewel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Morris's head.
Morris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Njewel throws a big right hand that misses.
Njewel won't allow Morris to sweep him here.
Njewel wants to control from the top but Morris keeps moving.
Njewel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morris pulls Njewel in close to prevent any damage.

Morris has his foot on Njewel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Njewel works his way back into a safe position though.

Morris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Njewel defends it easily.

Njewel wants to control from the top but Morris keeps moving.
Morris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Morris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Njewel chips away with some ground and pound.

Morris wants to sweep here but Njewel controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morris is on top in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Njewel throws a leg kick but Morris sees it coming and moves out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from Morris misses its target.
Njewel looks to land a left hand but Morris moved out of range nicely.
Morris looks to land a right hand but Njewel moved out of range.
Morris moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromNjewel.

Morris finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Morris misses with a wild body shot.
Morris misses the shot to the body.
Njewel throws a jab but it's blocked by Morris.
Njewel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Morris.
Njewel lands a jab to the nose.
Njewel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Njewel slips a jab and a cross from Morris.
Njewel flicks out a counter leg kick but Morris steps away.
Morris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Njewel swings away with a body shot that misses
and Morris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morris defending well as Njewel loads up on a big left hand.
Morris misses with a few strikes there.
Morris looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
And Njewel tries to counter it with a takedown but Morris pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Morris misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Njewel counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Njewel looks at the referee who does nothing so Njewel lands a crushing right that sends Morris to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
