Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Major Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alucard Darkim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardwood's entrance music is Ali Bomaye by The Game. A fine choice. Darkim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm new in da city kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Major Hardwood has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardwood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Darkim.
Hardwood lands a nice shot that snaps Darkim's head back.
Hardwood closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Darkim's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Darkim fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hardwood on the side of the head.
A slow jab from Darkim misses its intended target.
Hardwood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Darkim sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Darkim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hardwood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hardwood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Major Hardwood.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hardwood, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
