Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skinny McBones!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yoshi Twister!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Twister drives through and clinches with McBones against the cage.
McBones is trying to break free.
Twister taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

McBones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McBones tries a head kick but it misses.
Twister unleashes a big counter combination but McBones bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Skinny McBones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McBones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McBones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Twister counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Twister is working for a kimura but McBones is defending it quite comfortably.
McBones wants to get back to his feet.
Twister trying to mount his opponent but McBones defends it.

Twister is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McBones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Twister.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Twister working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

McBones wants to get back to his feet.

Twister is trying to work for a kimura but McBones is defending well.
McBones is trying to stand.

Twister is working for a submission of some sort.
Twister frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Twister swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
