Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Moses Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slater manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Smirnov on his heels. He'll look to pass Smirnov's guard now, I'm sure.
Smirnov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slater. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smirnov is trying to keep Slater in close.
Slater trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Slater throwing strikes from guard but Smirnov blocks nicely.
Slater lands a couple of elbows.
Slater throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smirnov has Slater pulled in close to control his posture.
Slater really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Smirnov controls Slater momentarily but Slater frees himself.

Smirnov wants to stand up but Slater is controlling him.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Slater scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Slater stands up and waves to Smirnov to follow him.
Slater fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Smirnov tries a quick counter leg kick but Slater is wise to it.

Smirnov dives in and scores a takedown into Slater's guard.
Smirnov looks winded!

Slater bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smirnov's guard.

Smirnov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slater is one step ahead there.
Slater has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Smirnov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Slater throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smirnov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slater prevents Smirnov from getting back to his feet.

Slater is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Smirnov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Slater escapes and throws Smirnov's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Smirnov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slater wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Slater tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slater has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Smirnov wants to get back to his feet but Slater is dominant here and he's now got Smirnov's back!
Slater gets his hands free as Smirnov looks to control.

Slater is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Smirnov is forced to tap! Great finish!
